WLF’s 2nd Annual General Body Meeting, Yercaud, 29&30 September 2025 WLF conducted its 2nd Annual General Body Meeting at Yercaud on 29th and 30th September 2025, focusing on “Women’s Economic Empowerment for Social Transformation– From Dependence to Self-sustenance.” On the first day, The annual report for 2024–2025 was shared through a PPT presentation, helping members understand the organizations progress and future plans. The leaders of member organizations participated in group activities to strategize on strengthening sub- committees, fundraising for WLF, capacity building for women leaders, and promoting entrepreneurship among women and their families. All four groups presented valuable ideas and action plans. Based on group discussions, additional suggestions were made to include new activities in the 2025–2026 annual plan. The second day featured guest speakers from sectors such as social entrepreneurship, human rights, and legal advocacy. Each shared personal experiences and strategies for overcoming challenges to drive social and economic transformation. Mr. Vijay Kulkarni and Mr. Ayyappan joined virtually to extend their wishes. Certificates were awarded to Niranthara Lite achievers and participants of various WLF trainings. The event served as a valuable networking and learning platform for member organizations.
