Women's Livelihood Federation
The NGO's work is vital as it strengthens women-led organizations, enabling women leaders to drive community development & social change across 16 districts of Tamil Nadu, fostering gender equality.
Our organization established in 2022 in Erode, TamilNadu, is dedicated to nurture and strengthen the grassroots initiatives by providing support, resources, and advocacy, along with efforts to amplify the impact of women leaders in driving positive change within their communities, ensuring that they have the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. We are actively engaged in 16 districts of Tamil Nadu, with an emphasis on community development, gender equality, and women's empowerment through our programs and projects. Capacity Building and Training Programs
The goal of our capacity-building initiatives is to improve the abilities and expertise of female leaders and their groups. We provide training sessions, workshops, and seminars on a range of subjects, such as financial literacy, project management, advocacy skills, and leadership development. By giving women the resources they need, we enable them to lead successfully and leave a lasting impression on their communities.
Community Development Programs
Our community development initiatives seek to strengthen links between neighbors and enhance their general quality of life. We support programs that tackle important problems, including economic development, health, and education. Interactive Workshop with Federations
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of an interactive workshop as part of our Federation Enablement Program, titled "Voice for a Vibrant and Credible Social Sector." This workshop brought together various federation members to engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, and enhance their skills. The program aimed to empower federations, fostering a stronger, more credible social sector. Participants gained valuable insights into effective communication, strategic planning, and collaborative problem-solving. The workshop was a testament to our commitment to build a united and dynamic network of federations dedicated to social development.

Finance and accounts & Governance TOT
WLF Admin Team, and Master Trainers participated in the 2nd Training of Trainers (ToT) held at Dharmapuri on 17,18.09.2025. The session focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of finance and accounts-related documentation maintained in NGOs and emphasized the importance of good governance in organizational management. The training aimed to enhance transparency, accountability, and effective record-keeping practices across member organizations.
MSME DEPARTMENT VISIT
25.08.2025, Ms. Secretariat Team met Mr. Thirumurugan, General Manager, MSME Department, Erode, along with his team. We shared our status report, brochure, and resource book for their reference and had a fruitful discussion on the way forward. He welcomed our request to collaborate in implementing livelihood programs for the family members of women leaders and expressed his commitment to support. where he will share details of new schemes for women entrepreneurs as well as existing ones. Additionally, he encouraged us to organize group meetings in Erode district, assuring MSME’s assistance with information and campaign support.
